About Rachel Hoggan

I am a seasoned educator based in Irvine, California with clear California Multiple Subject and Single-Subject English Teaching Credentials. I began my career in 2006, teaching English in public middle school. I went on to tutor high school students in writing and SAT test prep. After taking a break to homeschool my children for several years, I returned to the professional world and began tutoring students in grades TK-8. I have worked with independent study charter schools in different capacities as a parent, a contracted community partner, and educational facilitator for over a decade. I am familiar with many common curricula and can work with you to support your curriculum, or I can design customized activities to meet your goals.
